Alex Cipolle (née Notman) is an arts and culture journalist, editor, photographer, and illustrator with Minneapolis roots currently based in the Pacific Northwest.
Her work has appeared in The New York Times, BUST, Hyperallergic, Frommer’s, A Beautiful Perspective, Seattle Metropolitan Magazine, The Oregonian, The Register-Guard, Oregon Quarterly, Eugene Magazine, and Eugene Weekly.
“Artsmutt” pays homage to the pseudonym “R. Mutt” of artist Marcel Duchamp — a reminder to always examine the absurd, the curious, the outsider’s view.
